"Put Your Future Self In Charge" 

Jesus’ Sorrow for Jerusalem
31 At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.”
32 He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’ 33 In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!
34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 35 Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”

Welcome to the Little Church with a Big Heart.

We strive to be a friendly, caring, family-oriented community church with regular Sunday morning worship, special services,
​Sunday School for all ages, and nursery attendants available during worship.
We believe that our small membership offers the opportunity for closer relationships.   Join us in worship and experience for yourself the friendly family atmosphere provided by the members of our congregation.
Our Mission is to Love, Worship, and Obey God by reaching out to others through ministries to serve God and one another,  in fellowship with each other. ​We enjoy coming together for fellowship, meals and other activities whenever possible.  We believe in the power of prayer, and we pray “unceasingly” for our loved ones, our community, and our country.

Welcome Message from our Pastor.

I'd like to welcome you to Oak Meadow United Methodist Church. We call ourselves "The Little Church with a Big Heart". While we don't intend to be a big church, we do intend to be a very friendly church. This is one of the warmest congregations that I have ever served. Our mission is to love, worship and obey God by reaching out to others like you. I want to personally invite you to join this family of faith that meets at 2740 Hunters Green here in San Antonio.
